About Shortcut to Sunshine Travel

My passion is infusing your travel with joy.

I’ve always been the unofficial travel planner for my friends and family, putting together fancy itineraries for my travel companions and making recommendations for where to go, what to do, and how to find the best deals.

In 2020, I decided to “make it official” and become a travel agent! I signed on with a host agency and started selling Disney and Universal travel products. I loved working with my clients to plan their perfect vacations, and I knew that the next step in providing the ultimate travel planning experience was to forge my own path as an independent agent with my very own agency!

Countless hours of research, planning, forms, and certifications ensued, and in October 2023 Shortcut to Sunshine Travel was officially born!

☀️ I create a comprehensive itinerary that keeps all of your important travel documents and info in one easy-to-find spot.
☀️ ⬆️⬆️⬆️ All of this is always provided at no additional cost to you when you book a vacation package! (For à la carte flight purchases and itineraries that do not include lodging, a travel planning fee may apply.)

How does this work, exactly?

It’s easy. (And fun, too!)

✔ You tell me what you’re looking for (we can do this in whatever way works for you – you can send me an email or a text or tell me over the phone, or I can send you a handy dandy form that asks you all the important questions!)
✔ I put together one or more quotes and send them to you via email
✔ We work together to fine tune your vacation until it’s perfect for you
✔ I send you an invoice that contains a secure credit card authorization form so that I can book your travel! I then use the payment info that you provide to make payments directly to suppliers on your behalf.
✔ For vacation packages and cruises, my services never cost you any extra. (In fact often I’m able to find and apply discounts that end up saving you money compared to booking on your own!) Suppliers (like cruise lines, Walt Disney World, etc…) build commission costs in to all of their pricing, and if you opt to book travel on your own, those suppliers just keep that for themselves! If you do choose to work with a travel agent, the suppliers share that commission with the travel agent in exchange for the services that the agent provides to you by booking your travel, answering questions, and providing guidance and recommendations.
✔ For flight-only purchases and itineraries that do not include lodging, a travel planning fee may apply. All fees will be clearly outlined on your invoice.
